Windamere Regional Shooting Complex is part of the Windamere Recreational Park reserve CLM.

WRSC is a shooting range complex home to 9 different disciplines of target shooting.

In addition to hosting shoots, the range also features:

Centrefire and Rimfire Benchrest
Metallic Silhouette
Muzzle Loading
Pistol
Western Action
Colonial Action
Shotgun

There are several resident clubs within the complex that run regularly scheduled events, as well as state title championships. WRSC usually conducts all shooting on Saturdays and Sundays, and is only open when regular or special events are scheduled. Ranges and Facilities
WRSC has a dedicated 300m range for Combined Services Rifle and Pistol events.
This is located at Range 2 within the complex, it features a full complement of sheltered benches, basic kitchen amenities as well as an ablutions block with shower facilities.  Other ranges within the complex include:

Range 1:

Range 1 is a 50m soft target range right next door to Range 2. Mudgee Pistol Club and the local SSAA Pistol Club shoot here.

Range 2:

Range 2 allows shooting out to a distance of 1000m, and is templates to allow for the use of paper/soft targets

Range 3:

Range 3 allows shooting out to a distance of 400m, and is templates to allow for the use of both paper and steel targets. Please note, the steel targets on this range are mild steel and are to be shot only with unjacketed lead ammunition. Range 3 is also approved for high caliber pistols.

Range 4:

WRSC has its own dedicated shotgun range, home to Mudgee Sporting Clays as well as the local SSAA branch shotgun club who shoot 5 Stand here.

Range 5:

Range 5 is a 500m hard template silhouette range with a full complement of steel silhouette targets set out 5 distances. This range is also approved for high caliber pistols.

Attention
As a result of the 26th October 2017 range inspection by the NSW Firearms Registry, Range 5 is closed for centrefire rifle shooting at this time. Pistol is still allowed until further notice
